Digital (computerized) X-rays

Digital x-rays is a state of the art technology which reduces the radiation used when taking x-rays by 80% over traditional x-rays. Less radiation is needed to produce a computer based image as compared to processing x-rays on film. Other advantages to the digital images include:

  • enlargement for better diagnosis
  • colorization for better cosmetic dentistry case presentations
