Cosmetic Dentistry - Creating Beautiful Smiles

Cosmetic dentistry is an area of strong expertise with Dr. Swett providing cosmetic dentistry services for more than 20 years. From the most extensive treatment to a small modification in your smile our office can help you achieve the smile you've always wanted. We use only the most advanced materials and the labs the Hollywood stars use to produce the same results for you. A  smile design consultation is available to answer your questions regarding the services available by calling our office: 515-253-0405.

Bleaching

Tooth whitening or bleaching is the most economical and simplest way to improve your smile. Our professional tooth whitening system allows you to bleach at home. Custom bleach trays, made to fit your teeth make the process more comfortable and effective than over the counter products. Most patients see a significant improvement in tooth color within a few days. In-office laser bleaching is also available. Come in for a consultation and decide what system is right for you.

Veneers

These thin, porcelain coverings can change the color, shape, size and positioning of your teeth. In many cases, you can produce the perception of instant tooth straightening with this process. Veneers are used routinely by people in the public eye to improve their smile without removing as much tooth structure as crowns (caps) once did. We utilize  labs MAC  and DaVinci located in California to get the same results of the Hollywood stars for you here in the heartland.

Bonding

Bonding is a lower cost alternative for improving your smile that can give amazing results. Resin material designed to match your tooth color is used to close spaces, repair small fractures in teeth and to correct tooth defects. Bonding can usually be accomplished in only one appointment and anesthesia is often not needed. Additional advantages of bonding is that very little healthy tooth structure needs to be removed and this process can be especially useful for making changes to the developing smile.

Tooth Colored Fillings

We believe so strongly in this type of restoration our office no longer places silver mercury fillings. With the increased durability of the products, the overall appearance of your smile can be easily and quickly improved. Two choices of tooth colored materials are available, porcelain or tooth colored composite. Each have their pros and cons and we're happy to help you decide what's right for you.
